Biography
Extensive lighting design work has been seen in theatre, opera, ballet, commercial pantomime, music events and corporate theatre. Most recent work includes the dance/theatre production Peter and The Wolf (Antwerp, Amsterdam and UK Tour, International tour 2009 and Broadway), the ballet double bill Andersen’s Fairy Tales for the Bulgarian National Ballet at Opera Sophia, The Secret Garden Ballets, Die Walküre for Den Ny Opera, Denmark, The Pillowman (Leicester Curve), Independent Means (Manchester Library), Milestones (Watford Palace), A Tribute to Siegfried and Roy (Palladium), Unsuspecting Susan starring Celia Imrie and Tabloid Caligula both off Broadway, Bully Boy, The Playboy of the Western World, She Stoops To Conquer, Tchaikovsky and the Queen of Spades, Don Quixote, Salome and A Streetcar Named Desire at the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton.
West End and other London credits include most recently The River Line, Little Eyolf, Resident Alien, Lunch With Marlene, From The Hart, The Anniversary, The Female Odd Couple, The Dice House, Mademoiselle Colombe, Paul Merton Live! at the Palladium plus numerous designs for the National Youth Theatre and leading producing theatres across the UK.
Corporate and fashion work includes Top Shop, Roland Mouret, Paul Smith, Diesel and IBM.
