I have created nearly 60 original lighting designs for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford, London, the West End and on tour. I have lit shows for, amongst others, Sir Peter Hall, Michael Attenborough, Adrian Noble, Deborah Warner, Sam Mendes, John Barton, Jude Kelly, Howard Davies, Garry Hynes and Danny Boyle; working with designers such as Christopher Morley, Anthony Ward, Ashley Martin Davies, Liz da Costa, Chris Dyer, Iona McLeish, Bob Crowley, Ultz, Ralph Koltai, and John Gunter.

Freelance lighting design has included The Lunatic Queen at The Riverside Studios, London; The Boy Who Fell Into A Book for English Touring Theatre at Warwick Arts Centre and on tour; Waste at The Lyric Theatre, West End; co-lighting of Gift of the Gorgon Wyndhams Theatre, West End; Don Giovanni for Scottish Opera at Theatre Royal, Glasgow and on tour; Opera Showcase for National Opera Studio at the QEH; The Magic Flute at The Royal Academy of Music directed by John Copley and conducted by Sir Colin Davis; Carmen at the Longborough Festival 2006; four shows at The Greenwich Theatre, London; The Caretaker at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff directed by Annie Castlediene; a tour of Savannah Bayfor Foco Novo; shows at Battersea Arts Centre, The Almeida, The King’s Head, and many London Fringe venues.

I have organised large scale theatre lighting projects and have undertaken many relights around the world for top British Lighting Designers.
I am teaching theatre lighting at LAMDA.
