This reception served as the official welcome for 600 invited attendees of the Radio and Television News Director's Association. Guests from around the United States gathered to enjoy cocktails, food, and entertainment in a ballroom transformed into an underwater wonderland to promote Walt Disney Parks' two new "Nemo" attractions; the "Finding Nemo" attraction at Disneyland in California and the "Finding Nemo" show at Animal Kingdom in Florida. The party featured water effects courtesy of (6) Martin MAC 550's (running a slow pan around the room with a prism water effect) and (12) Martin Mania fixtures (focused on the ceiling, running their water effect). Also included in the package were (26) CK ColorBlast 12's that uplit the white sheer drape surrounding the room. These fixtures ran a color-wave routine that changed from blue to blue-green throughout the evening. Other items of note were the white leather seating areas (that took light very well), the tall plexi-glass aquarium cocktail tables, internally lit cocktail tables, and the giant plexi-glass aquarium bar.
