Paul has been Lighting stage shows since the age of 11 and received his first professional credit at the age of 15. Within two years he had gone on to win two awards for 'Creativity and Originality in Stage Lighting Design', at the Luton Youth Drama Festival, in two consecutive years.

From his early successes, Paul's career has taken him all over the world, lighting productions as diverse as TV Shows, Gala Dinners, Musicals, Plays, Concerts and Son Et Lumiere's.

After almost 10 years of being based in Dubai, Paul recently returned to the UK and is now based here permanently.

Aside from his Lighting Design credits, Paul owns a full WYSIWYG suite, and as such, often finds himself working as an Associate LD by default, keeping an assortment of other Lighting Designers paperwork in order!

Currently, the majority of Paul's projects are large scale open air Gala Events, often requiring a multi disciplinary approach to their Lighting Requirements such as Environmental, Theatrical, Concert, Industrial and Television.

Paul often says that his speciality is Diversity, in that he is often required to marry up many opposing styles such as the subtlety of Theatrical Lighting to ensure that the live audience are not left out, along with an appropriate amount of 'oomph' for the ever present Television audience.

Recent credits have included a wide range of TV Shows, Concerts and Large Scale Industrial Theatre. Currently, Paul is working on a number of Concerts and recently completed a several month contract as one of the ETC Eos programmers on a Theme Park project in the Middle East.
