Scott Allan
Biography
Scott Allan is a stage Lighting Designer based in Melbourne, Australia.
He is a professional member of the Association of Lighting Designers (ALD), Treasurer of the Australasian Lighting Industry Association (ALIA) and has twice attended the Broadway Design Master-class series at New York University.
Scott grew up in the theatres of Newcastle, and after training with the Young People's Theatre (1986-1992), spent eight years lighting pantomime and productions in repertory as their Resident Lighting Designer. Scott also worked regularly for Hunter Valley Theatre Company, Hunter School of Performing Arts, Newcastle Repertory Club, Opera Hunter, Freewheels TIE and Flying Teapot Theatre Company.
Now settled in Melbourne, Scott continues to work internationally with a diverse range of theatre makers, corporate producers, educators and architects...
