Georges Marvellous Medicine UK Tour

The stage is cleverly lit by lighting designer Jack Weir
Philip Lowe, East Midlands Theatre 14/12/2017

Bad Girls The Musical

Weir's lighting is outstanding. In the absence of physical scenic changes it is down to the lighting plots to suggest time and place and it is rare that an off West End show is found to offer such distinctive clarity.
Jonathan Baz, 11/03/2016

No Villain

The lighting provided by Jack Weir is similarly stripped back but paints the stage in a beautiful golden hue throughout most of the show, and is especially prominent in the final scene, which is seemingly lit only by a single candle.
Ellie Bannerman, A Younger Theatre 19/12/2015
It's hard to see how the production side could be better done. It really is one of those cases where the discipline of a small performance space stimulates creative dividends. Not only are the sets a miracle of concise period evocation and practicality, but they are reinforced with a moody, fine-grained lighting design by Jack Weir, using a range of period light fittings.
Tim Hochstrasser, British Theatre 17/12/2015

Passing By

The set design by Philip Lindley and Lighting Design by Jack Weir is simple but highly impressive, giving the illusion of separate rooms for each scene.
MellowDayLondon 10/11/2013
A fantastic story backed by a great cast. Realistic set, lighting and sound make this a production not to be missed. Jack Weir’s lighting is also well done, and light streaming in through the blinds again adds to the feeling of being at the heart of Manhattan.
Everything Theatre 10/11/2013
Philip Lindley’s believable Manhattan studio apartment set, delicately lit by Jack Weir, provides a great space for Makarem and Cartwright to flex their comedic and romantic muscles
Scott Mathewman, The Stage 08/11/2013
Philip Lindley's design and Jack Weir's lighting are understated and evoke '70s nostalgia to perfection.
Rowena Hawkins, Plays to See 07/11/2013

Armstrong's War

Michael’s flashbacks are subtle and imaginatively recreated with only a slight dimming of lights and the faint sound of steps treading outside, but the effect is captivating. The audience seem to hold their breath at the height of this retelling.
Natasha Fonseka, TheUpcomming 13/08/2013

Perciles

'Beautiful lighting from Jack M. Weir, music from Jamie Reid, and hauntingly sung sea shanties richly evoke the atmosphere of life at sea.''
Sally Stott, The Stage 11/02/2013

Impotent

'This is a clever, well-written, well-structured play. It entertains while exploring the issue of impotence in today’s society.''
Everything Theatre 01/05/2013
'the evening is a veritable chuckle-fest'' (Four Stars)
Alison Goldie, What's On Stage 14/01/2013
'From start to successful finish Impotent! is a highly enjoyable, entertaining piece of theatre''
Abi Symons, One Stop Arts 10/01/2013
'Impotent is a breath of fresh air. This brand new black comedy, written by Matt Reed, feels incredibly fresh and is hugely relevant but most importantly the show is funny... not just a little bit funny... extremely funny!''
Andrew Tomlins, West End Frame 08/01/2013
