School of Creative Arts - Leeds City College

The School of Creative Arts allows students to unlock industry-standard skills and the experience needed to succeed in various creative disciplines. Students can put their theory into practice in an array of industry-standard facilities and can leverage sector links to gain insight and exciting opportunities. At the heart of the school's Quarry Hill Campus is the Chroma-Q Theatre managed by LCC_Backstage staff and students. This vocational course is sponsored by AC Entertainment and offers L2 and L3 training programmes in theatre design and technical production.

Theatre Opening

The opening ceremony, with an invited guest list able to tour the building and watch student performances in the Chroma-Q Theatre, was a cross-section of suppliers, supporters and industry investors who are all committed to forging relationships with the Leeds City College to boost regional business opportunities and the local economy. AC Entertainment's Jonathan Walters and project manager Ben Taylor were in attendance. “We were delighted to partner with Leeds City College to help them to foster tomorrow’s backstage talent,” comments Walters. “The production industry is driven by creativity and innovation.
