Matt Daw

Matt studied Lighting Design at The Central School of Speech and Drama, London graduating in 2006.

Credits as lighting designer include The Elephantom, The Shed - National Theatre and Pam Ann Flying High, Vaudeville Theatre, West End.

As associate lighting designer include War Horse, Berlin and Australian Tour, White Christmas, UK Tour, Shrek The Musical, The Royal Dury Lane, West End, The Railway Children, Waterloo Station London, Buddy and Ich Will Spass, Colosseum Theater Essen, Ich War Noch Niemals in New York, Operettenhaus, Hamburg and Tanz der Vampire, State Theatre of Musical Comedy, St Petersburg and Palladium Theater, Stuttgart.

As assistant lighting designer Mamma Mia! Artscape Opera House, Cape Town, Tanz Der Vampire, Metronom Theater, Oberhausen, Aida, Hair and Carmen Cubana Musical Sommer, Amstetten and Chicago and The Drowsy Chaperone, in London’s West End.

Matt has worked extensively as Touring Lighting Designer for recording artists Jónsi and Björk and is currently working with Icelandic band Sigur Rós on their Kveikur world tour.
