Michael G Scott

Trained as an electronic engineer but transfer skills to the stage. In 1987 became the chief and resident designer at the Adeline Genee Theatre follow by freelance production electrician in London and the provinces before spending time in Australia where work included the Sydney Arts festival.
In 1988 joined the Royal Opera House and worked for the Opera and Ballet companies in the UK, Europe, and the Far East, in the position of Lighting System Manager. In June 2008 left the ROH to further my career as a freelance Consultant and designer under the name of Lite Solution.
Dance design credits include Desirable Hostilities, First Drafts (Royal Ballet), No Hot Ashes, Don’t dress for Dinner and Out of the Blue (Diamond Dance).
Theatre design credits include lilies on the land (Arts, london) Murder on the Nile, Flare Path, Same Time Next Year, Cymbeline, Cloud Nine, Macbeth and Little Murders. First Nights at the Garden, Phantoms and Tutti Verdi (ROH Linbury studio), Edges, UK Premier (Edinburgh)
Consultant/production LX credits working on a variety of projects, including Love never dies, world premier(Really Useful group) Les Miserable 25th (O2), Singing the Rain(palace) Matilda (Cambridge)
