Mike Le Fevre
Following the long summer of 1981; the Shaw and the National Youth Theatre, Mike joined the BBC in 1983 as a Vision Engineer in the Outside Broadcast department. In 1987 he transferred to BBC Television Centre's Studio Lighting & Vision section to pursue a lighting career. Mike progressed from Vision Control engineer to Vision Supervisor and was appointed as a Lighting Designer / Lighting Director in the late 90's
In 2008 Mike left the BBC to pursue a freelance career, providing, symbiotically with our partners, lighting design, lighting training and consultancy services to a wide variety of clients, globally. . He work's on a very wide range of projects, from location to studio, live to pre-recorded, drama to light entertainment, from rock to opera, lighting and training both in the UK and overseas.
Mike's attitude is, anytime, anywhere, to shine brightly, the show and less serious matters.
